Jeremiah & Wendy Ginsberg

Jeremiah and Wendy Ginsberg have written and produced four musicals based on the Biblical text. Jeremiah writes the Music, Lyrics and Orchestrations and Wendy co-writes the Book with him.

1985: “Rabboni,” off-Broadway, The Perry Street Theatre, New York City.

1997: “Mendel & Moses,” The Canon Theatre, Beverly Hills, CA.

2008: “The Time of Mendel’s Trouble,” Equity Showcase, The Beckett Theatre, off-Broadway, New York City.

2017: “Esther, Sweet Esther,” The National Press Club, Washington, DC.

2022: “Messiah The Musical in Concert,” Lisner Auditorium, Washington, DC.

Jeremiah Ginsberg (Producer, Director, Orchestrator, Book, Music & Lyrics) Born in New Haven, CT, Jeremiah graduated from UCONN, attended New York Law School, passed the Bar in NY and CT, and practiced Entertainment Law with Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI) and Columbia Records, before establishing his own practice in Connecticut. A jazz and classically trained musician from his youth, Jeremiah has written hundreds of songs.

Wendy Ginsberg

Wendy Ginsberg (Producer, Book Writer) Born in Los Angeles, Wendy graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, returned to Los Angeles, studied acting with Charles Conrad, Winifred Keithly and Milton Katselas, appeared in “Funny Lady,” “Kojak,” print and commercials. A script reader at 20th Century Fox, Wendy wrote spec screenplays before meeting Jeremiah at an audition for “Rabboni.” She got the part!

Carolyn Paddock (Choreographer, Assistant Director) Graduate of Point Park University, Carolyn is featured in 3 films in the NYC Library’s Dance Collection. Choreography credits include “The Time of Mendel’s Trouble” (Beckett Theatre), “Mendel & Moses” (Royalty Theatre), “Esther, Sweet Esther” (Presidential Inaugural Prayer Breakfast in 2013, The National Press Club in 2017), Miss America Pageant (Miami), Ballet Theatre of Miami, “Godspell” and “Beauty & The Beast” (Boca Raton). Produced & choreographed shows for Royal Caribbean, and Corporate Events for AT&T, General Motors & The U.S. House of Representatives.

Steven Koflanovich

Steven Koflanovich (Co-Producer, Director of Production) Steve graduated from San Diego State with a BS in Film. He worked as Production Assistant at Universal Studios and World Wide Pictures, a division of the Billy Graham Evangelical Association. Steve was post-production manager at IMAX Films for 12 years. For over 40 years, Steve has worked with the Ginsbergs in their productions of “Rabboni,” “Mendel & Moses,” “Esther, Sweet Esther,” and “Messiah The Musical in Concert.” Steve is a highly valued member of the Board of Directors of Jeremiah Theatricals.

Jan DuPlain, an award-winning public relations/special events executive, graduated from American University in Washington, DC, worked at CBS Films in New York City, and was the first PR Director for the historic Ford’s Theatre in Washington. For 15 years, she was the PR Director for WETA TV, the third largest producer of PBS programs in the U.S. Jan helped launch Cultural Tourism DC’s PASSPORT DC’s “Around the World Embassy Tour,” one of the “greatest events in the nation’s capital!” Jan is the Embassy Liaison for the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center hosting 300 events each year, including Winternational, their annual signature program.
